How the competition format works
The Pro category plays single elimination: R64, R32, R16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and the 3rd/4th place match before the Final. Matches are best-of-3 games to 11 points, win by 2. Seeding is based on a combined point structure of APP US, APP Asia, and GPA ā players without prior points are seeded according to their DUPR rating.
The prize on the line
$35,000 USD total, split evenly: $17,500 for the Pro category, and $17,500 shared between Senior Pro and Amateurs ā with the pro singles champion taking home roughly $1,250 USD, and the pro doubles champion around $2,500 USD.
