Dink Authority Editorial Team

Championship Sunday has arrived on the APP Tour, and Danny Cunniff Park is set to hand out five titles in a single day.

After three days of extreme heat, near-unbearable humidity, and top-tier pickleball, the Vlasic Classic Chicago reaches its grand finale. This Sunday, August 9, between 12:00pm and 6:00pm ET, the tournament's five champions will be crowned — with full coverage on APPtv via YouTube and Facebook.

Here's the full Championship Sunday lineup:

WOMEN'S SINGLES
Seone Mendez vs. Domenika Turkovic

Two friends of this house, both loaded with serious qualities on court: power, explosiveness, court IQ, and the kind of mental toughness that shows up under pressure. They're the ones opening today's menu of great pickleball.

MEN'S SINGLES
Jayden Broderick vs. Ammar Wazir

A matchup between two of the most consistent young names of the year. Broderick and Wazir have become regulars in the tour's final rounds, and today they settle it head to head.

MIXED DOUBLES
Kat Stewart / Ronan Camron vs. Carlota Trevino / Randy Blanco

Stewart and Camron arrive as one of the most solid pairs in the mixed bracket this season. On the other side, Trevino and Blanco are looking to pull off the upset in a matchup that promises high intensity from the very first point.

MEN'S DOUBLES
Jack Munro / Richard Livornese Jr. vs. Quang Duong / Patrick Kawka

Munro and Livornese, top seeds in the men's bracket, come in as the clear favorites. But Duong and Kawka are no easy out — both have the experience to make things difficult for anyone.

WOMEN'S DOUBLES
Vivian Glozman / Roos Van Reek vs. Amanda Hendry / Emilia Schmidt

The most anticipated final of the day. Glozman and Van Reek arrive in great form — yesterday, Saturday, they already made their level clear, beating Bobbi Oshiro and Kat Stewart in the quarterfinals 7-11, 11-4, 11-4, and haven't let up since. On the other side, Hendry and Schmidt are looking to break the script and take gold on home turf.

A Closing Worthy Of The Weekend

Between the scorching heat, the humidity that slowed down every ball, and the level of play seen on court, this Vlasic Classic Chicago has been one of the most hard-fought of the year.

Today, Sunday, August 9, will be an afternoon of glory for many and reflection for others. The real winner? Us, the spectators — because the pickleball on display at this tournament is on another level.

See you soon.
